This restaurant has quietly became my go to place to drink at in Saint Louis. With the different flavors of margaritas that are available you have plenty of choices to find one that suits you. The food is kind of blah, but then again this is coming from a person that lives in south Texas so I'm biased but price wise everything is pretty fair. The service can sometimes be hit or miss depending on when you go

This is the ultimate spot in STL for a strong margarita. I know I can always count on El Burro to fulfill my piña colada cravings. Service is always amazing. The chips and salsa are brought out the moment you sit down at your table. Water cups are refilled regularly. The food always comes out shockingly fast, too, even on their busiest nights. The food isn't anything special in my opinion. It's often overly greasy for my liking and it sometimes seems overpriced. If I do order food here, I'll usually go for their chicken street tacos, which come with a side of rice and beans. Most of the time, I find myself grabbing dinner beforehand somewhere else and landing here solely for the margs because they're that good! They somewhat recently renovated the interior, and I love the new look. It's much brighter and more inviting! However, the restrooms are usually pretty yucky, especially on the weekends. Overall, this is such a fun spot to hang out with friends. Highly recommend sitting outside on their patio when the weather is nice!
